Snow falls past the window of this cabin, where an armchair with a blanket sits near a wood stove and a pile of books. The stove and armchair are the largest pieces, so they are the place to start before the smaller details.
For a plaid blanket, color stripes in one direction first, then cross them with a second color where they overlap. Fine-tip pens keep the small book spines tidy.
