Wooden stalls strung with lights line a European Christmas market, some selling gingerbread, while a carousel turns in the background. Settle the stall roofs and walls first, and leave the string lights for later.
Leave each bulb white and wrap a soft yellow halo around it before darkening the sky behind. The contrast is what makes the lights seem to glow.
