A little crowd of gingerbread people stands among candy canes and sweets, each wearing a row of icing buttons. Fill every figure with one warm brown before you add any of the small decorations.
Leave the icing lines and buttons white, then use a red marker for the stripes on the candy canes. It is quick to finish and makes a friendly first page for beginners.
